On my heart...

A photo to share....
Ain't he just about the cutest thing since sliced bread?!
In my life this week…
I have been feeling better about things....sort of a resolve to press on, in spite of. There is a sadness when I remember when, and certain things will hit me, but I am resolved to follow Jesus and His Word, and this Message with all my heart. Let go let come what may.

In our homeschool this week…
School is actually going pretty well. Bub is gearing up for the Spring program, and he has picked out a topic for his presentation. He wants to do a diorama, which should be interesting, if not fun. He seems to be interested in doing it, which for me is a huge hurdle, because he normally prefers to sit in the background on these kind of programs.
Helpful homeschooling tips or advice to share…
No new tips today. We have 52 days of school left as of today. yay!!

I am inspired by…
My mom and her unconditional love.

Places we’re going and people we’re seeing...
We have a couple of friendship nights planned this week, at which I am excited about. One has already happened, when a dear friend invited me out to a Valentine's dinner...it was so nice, and so much fun just to sit and relax and talk with someone I just don't see often enough!
Also, Bub's basketball game is Saturday, and I'm happy to say that thus far, his team is undefeated! And he scored last week which is always fun! :-)

My favorite thing this week was…so far, my Valentine's dinner at Texas Roadhouse! And the Roadkill was the best it's ever been!

What’s working/not working for us…
I got a new desk over the weekend, a work desk, and so Bub got my old one, which means we did quite a bit of moving/rearranging this week. And still have lots more to go! I just am not getting a whole lot done to the house elsewise. I'm doing good to semi-keep up with the dishes and laundry. Just no motivation to speak of. Ugggh!

Questions/thoughts I have…
I am trying to remember that God looks on the heart, and He alone knows what's in the hearts of man, and things look so awful/terrible/sad to me, because I am looking at it thru human eyes, but I am trying to remember He sees all, and He is a God full of grace and mercy. There is no limit to His Love, so don't count anybody out!

I’m reading…
Still trudging thru that John Grisham book. It's actually a pretty good book, if I could read more than 3 or 4 pages at a time!

I’m cooking…I bought an electric griddle over the weekend. I love it! So far I've only used it for pancakes and hamburgers, but I have a feeling it's going to be my new best friend in the kitchen! It has a reversible side, one is flat, and the other side is a grill, and I think it will be a very fruitful purchase!

I’m grateful for…
Bottled water. I hate tap water, and don't drink near enough water anyway, so thank God for bottled water! (and it can't be spring water either! Yuck!)

I’m praying for....
Many friends, who are going thru deep, deep trials. And for me, to be more faithful, more obedient in His calling. And grace to keep my yapper shut when it's time to be silent.

Things I love...
The smell of a brand new book when you first open it....

Why is it easier to see some hearts and not others? Is how we portray our hearts to be seen or is it how we choose to look at others hearts?
Life gets more and more confusing the older I get.
Thank you for being such a blessing Wednesday. Love you bunches.

Sometimes I wonder if people really see who I am - see who I am inside versus the craziness I act like sometimes on the outside! I always hope people who know me see me deeper than the surface, because sometimes my surface acts kind of stupid! :-)
I am glad we connected...love you much.
