Ramblings....aka...mutterings....

Almost midnight, and I'm still up. It's been such an odd day. Little man and I went "fleamarketing", hoping to find some fleas for a bargain price. Ha. Actually, I was looking for "flippers"....incredibly cheap stuff that actually is a collectible item, that I can flip on Ebay for some extra cash. Found some old stuff, maybe somebody will want, we'll see. Then I came home and lost all motivation to do anything. Laid in bed for two hours before forcing myself to get up and balance my checkbook. Which was a good thing because I had made a SERIOUS error in my checking, that could have cost me bigtime, had I not caught it!
I've lost my zeal for Facebook, so not much to do on there. I don't know what my deal is really, but it just has been a downer for me lately to spend much time on it, so I'm just not.
Didn't cook anything today, other than put two bagels in the toaster. Yeehaw. We ate out both breakfast (donuts) and lunch (El Nopal), which is unusual for us lately.
Little man did break out on a good deal at the fleamarket - a digital camcorder that was still in the package, never opened, originally $100, but had been marked down several times, and he picked it up for $15. It works, although the playback screen on the recorder is grainy and fuzzy, still when you play it back on the computer or TV it works great. I told him he was the "Grand Poopaw" today of Fleamarketing...he thought that was great.
Church in the morning; Lord willing I will be there, although I've been having to push myself to go inside....I know I shouldn't care about how I look, it's for the Lord what counts, but I have gained more weight, and though I have prayed and committed it to the Lord, I am still very selfconscious, and am running out of clothes that fit, and I refuse to buy any bigger sizes. So out of selfconsciousness, I find myself in the car many Sunday mornings, hiding behind my black tinted windows. I could open a whole can of worms there, but I'll save it for the therapist. Besides, I am not going to dwell on the "symptoms", I am looking for the answer to my prayers.
Lots to think about with the earthquake in Chile. Little man and I read this morning in the Scriptures where our Lord said to lift up our heads, our "redemption draweth nigh"...there is no safety outside of Christ for sure.
I have no idea what to make for Sunday dinner tomorrow. We have plenty; thank the Lord for that. I really don't feel like going all out; may settle for a soft taco bake. More on that later.
Got a meeting with the hand surgeon on Friday to see about having surgery on my wrists for the carpal tunnel. I'm ready to get it over with, but some say they may try cortisone first. I told my doctor that I wanted to skip the cortisone and head straight for the knife. We'll see.
Enough blabbering, though I feel like I could say more, I probably shouldn't.
Ciao.

IF only we viewed ourselves as the Lord does. We are our worst enemy sometimes. I think you are so beautiful Stephanie.
I was SOOOO happy to see you at gym day Thursday. I was so proud of you;) But like a dummy I got side tracked on thoughts and actions and never made my way to you and told you as much. I'm very sorry for that.Love you! Jo
